A little about me

Career

For over forty years I've been blessed to have worked with some of the most creative minds in the business.  I love having a visual challenge thrown at me, and finding a solution.

Some have tried to define me, to label me with a particular style. I say just show me your creative concept. I'll figure out a way to make your idea a reality. THAT'S my style.

Photography, high-end retouching, digital imaging, 3D and CGI are the tools I bring to the table.

My creative juices still run strong, and I look forward to whatever lies down the road.

Please call if I can be of any service to you.

A New Chapter Begins

September 4, 2017

Recently, while immersed in a rather complex and challenging assignment, I was exposed to a photographic tool I had never given an iota of thought: Flying Cameras, aka Drones.  So here I am, the proud owner of a DJI Phantom 4 Pro.  Flying all over the place, diving into video editing, and studying to take the FAA Part 107 exam to become a certified Remote Pilot in Command. While I can’t predict where it will take me, the view is breathtaking!

Why DOCK25?

My studio was located at 25 Drydock Avenue in Boston, directly across the street from a massive, working dry-dock. The Queen Elizabeth 2 was actually there for repairs at one time.

We were John Holt Studios back then, with a very talented crew. To reflect that, I wanted to give the studio a name which would be about more than just me.

That’s when DOCK25 was born.

3 years old with my father's Graflex. I didn't use a camera seriously till I was 30.
